Find the balance point of an SVG figure
Drop in a figure and Plumb marks its centre of mass — the point a flat cut-out of that shape balances on. Hang it from anywhere directly above that point and it will rest level, exactly as drawn.

The SVG is rasterised and every visible pixel is weighed, with opacity as density. Paths, strokes and fills all count; a half-transparent region counts as half the material. The result is the exact area centroid on the assumption your figure is cut from flat stock of uniform thickness — plywood, card, sheet metal, acrylic. If your drawing uses transparency decoratively rather than to mean thinner material, flatten it to full opacity first.
A hanging figure rotates until its centre of mass sits directly below the attachment point. To keep the orientation you drew, the hole, hook or thread must sit on the plumb line — the dashed vertical through the marked centre — anywhere above the cross. The higher above the centre you attach, the more stable it hangs. The marker download adds this line to your file so you can print it at scale and transfer the point straight onto the material.
